Cycling - Coed y Brenin Mountain Biking Centre
Coed y Brenin, North Wales is renowned for its world class mountain bike trails that offer exhilarating and challenging riding in a woodland setting. Coed y Brenin was the first forest to be developed for the sport of mountain biking and to this day retains its reputation as the sport's premier location.
A range of mountain bike trails suitable for everyone from families and novices (Yr Afon) to rocky technical trails for expert riders radiate out from our stunning state of the art eco visitor centre. The trail network is constantly being expanded and improved too, with the new "Cavity" section of 'False Teeth' adding a jaw dropping technical challenge.
There is also a cosy restaurant/café and cycle shop (sales, repair, hire) on site. There are information leaflets on a number of family walking trails for those on foot, and there is an all-ability play area and all-ability trail leading to the riverside picnic site located next to the visitor centre.
