Superb sea fishing is available in the Bristol Channel and beach and rock fishing can be found nearby. Porthcawl is a local favorite for Cod fishing during the winter months and during the summer Rays and even Smoothhound can be caught from the jetty and the old harbour wall. Charter boats can also be booked from Porthcawl Harbour.
