Fishing lakes - Chirk Fishery
Chirk Fishery in North Wales offers two fly fishing lakes, a separate bait pool for children and a fish farm. The fishery is set in an attractive Welsh valley, near the border town of Chirk - 8 miles from Llangollen and 20 miles from Chester.The fly fishing lakes and bait pool are regularly stocked with Rainbow, Brown and American Brook Trout as well as Goldies, Blues and Tiger Trout. These are bred on site, guaranteeing quality.
The children's bait pool has wooden walkways and safety barriers on all banks with grassed area and picnic tables alongside.
Running through the fishery is the River Ceiriog which is stocked with brown trout and can be fished on a day ticket, fly only.
Great for family days out and all fishing tackle and bait are supplied and included in the price.
Prices vary from £11 (2 hours) to £26 (8 hours / 6 fish). 2 hours is £7.50 for children under 12.
