Fishing the River Dee in Llangollen
The Welsh River Dee in North Wales is one of the purest in Europe and is a popular fishing venue. It has good runs of salmon and sea-trout throughout the season and is internationally renowned for brown trout and grayling fishing.Llangollen Angling Association controls fishing on approximately 6 miles of the Welsh River Dee in and around the town of Llangollen.
Permits are available at Watkin & Williams Hardware Store, Berwyn Street in Llangollen. Day Passes are £12 for Trout / Grayling and £30 for Salmon / Sea-trout. You will also need a valid Environment Agency rod licence to fish at this venue.
