The sand on Newquay Harbour Beach feels like pure silk between your toes and is one of the best places in West Wales to see dolphins & porpoise. Harbour beach is Newquay's smallest beach. It is a small area of sand, covered at high tide. The beach is very popular with families due to its safe sheltered bathing and easy access. There is a working harbour there and When the fishing boats come in, they are followed most days by 1-3 seals, who will swim around the harbour for a couple of hours.
