Walking Moel Emoel mountain, Bala

Moel Emoel is one of Bala’s wonders. The mountain stands proud to the north of the town with stunning views over Bala town, the lake and surrounding area. The walk is a 6 mile circular walk that requires moderate ability. Some sections of the walk are usually quite wet therefore make sure you remember your walking boots.

Start off heading towards Trawsfynydd on the A4212, after crossing the river Tryweryn 1.5 miles from Bala, park on the right hand side and from here you will see a sign ‘Llwybr Cyhoeddus’ which is public footpath in Welsh and here is the starting point of the walk.
