Pendine Sands is a 7 mile stretch of beach stretching from Gilmore Point to Laugharne Sands. Parry-Thomas when they set the world land speed record five times between 1924 and 1927.Pendine Sands is located within Carmarthenshire but its edge crosses the Pembrokeshire border.
