From cheese in the south to oysters in the north, these are the pick of Wales’s best food festivals from September to October.

Wales is not short of food festivals. Abergavenny Food Festival, often described as the foodie Glastonbury, is one of the best. As well as more than 150 produce stalls, there are tutored tastings, talks and master classes by big names such as Antonia Carluccio, Valentine Warner, Angela Hartnett and Odette’s Bryn Williams.
