Llofft Llyn
(sleeps 4)


Itís easy to see why families who visit this impeccably renovated cottage in the Llyn Peninsula come back year after year. Its magical garden is the undoubted star. Jotted around the vast green area is a BBQ set, swings, slide, football goals, den, playhouse and a trampoline Ė guaranteed to keep the kids occupied for hours!

The cottage is set on a working farm, so children can get to meet the sheep, cows and pony, as well as the resident cat and dog. Inside, the property combines exposed beams with classy dťcor and luxury bedrooms and bathroom. It is a short stroll to the village of Sarn Mellteyrn with its pottery, woodcraft centre, tearooms and three good pubs, one of which offers food.

If you can tear the kids away from the garden and the farm, youíll find no less than 10 glorious beaches within easy distance. The nearest, Traeth Penllech, is long, sandy and blissfully quiet.


Stone Barn

Stone Barn holiday cottage is located on farm land, 15 minutes from the beautiful Heritage Coastline and the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay. This stone cottage, set in 26 acres of countryside and wildflower meadows, may look traditional from the outside but inside itís a different story: satellite television, Playstation 2, microwave, dishwasher, king-size beds with Egyptian sheets and a sumptuous tiled bathroom are just a few of the luxury mod cons. 

In front of the holiday cottage is a gated seating area making it safe for young children to play outside. If you like walking or cycling, you've come to the right place. There are enough walks and paths round here to last a lifetime! In your holiday cottage you will find laminated routes that you can take with you on days out.

A boat ride to Cardigan Bay to spot bottlenose dolphins. As they are residents in the area, they can nearly always be seen. 


Ysgubor

Ysgubor, a luxury barn conversion in St Davids, Pembrokeshire, is the ideal choice for a small family.  The cottage is located on a working organic farm, a real treat for children who love to meet the animals. Itís a short walk to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path where you can spot baby seals, and close to a clean sandy beach.

The barnís welcoming interior has beamed ceilings, traditional pine furniture, two cosy bedrooms and paintings by local artists. The living room is well equipped with wide-screen television, books, games and DVDs, and thereís an enclosed patio garden with picnic table and chairs Ė the perfect place to relax after a hard dayís exploring.

There are three beaches within a few miles of the cottage, including Caerfai Bay, a lovely sandy sheltered beach, and the blue-flagged Whitesands Bay, which has safe swimming and white sand.


Bwthyn Amroth

A frisbeeís throw from Amrothís award-winning beach, this traditional holiday cottage makes easy work of family holidays. Everything you need is pretty much right on your doorstep. Itís a short stroll to the village centre, which has plenty of places to eat and a few family-friendly pubs.

You can set off on a walk on the 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coastal Path from your front door, or you could just relax in the cottageís large enclosed garden Ė bring the dog if you like. Comfortable and well equipped, the cottage sleeps five and has a large lounge area, iPod docking stations, plus WiFi, broadband and digital TV with cinema surround sound.

Bwthyn Ceiriog
(sleeps 4)


Lap up picture-postcard views at this brilliantly located two-bedroomed cottage near Llangollen. Perched on the south side of a hill overlooking the beautiful Ceiriog Valley, the cottage is surrounded by 18 acres of land and has access to footpaths, bridleways and cycle trails. The picturesque town of Llangollen, with its watersports, steam train and quirky shops, is a short drive away. Snowdonia and the coast are within reach too.

Beautifully decorated with Welsh tapestries, fabrics and art, thereís a small library with board games and toys, and plenty of storage for outdoor clothing and equipment. Kids can amuse themselves in the well-equipped games room and parents can relax in front of the cosy wood burning stove - or, weather permitting, on the private terrace.
