There are 14 single track mountain bike routes through forests, over Welsh Mountains, through streams and open commons.

Routes are abundant – Builth Wells to Hay on Wye trail is a lovely waterside ride that follows the River Wye and NCN routes 42 and 8 through Powys, with wonderful views of the
Black Mountains.The Lon Las (National Route 8) passes through the town.

There are 5 circular cycle routes in and around Brecon to suit all levels. the Taff Trail also begins here and runs southwards for 55miles through superb countryside and with fantastic views of the Brecon Beacons and the South Wales Valleys down to Cardiff.
