| This large, luxury holiday home is made for occasions and celebrations. Set in beautiful North Wales countryside, it boasts a magnificent 3 acre garden which includes a hot tub, grass tennis court, giant chess table, games room and paddock. So if you're looking to hire a large venue for the family reunion, Grandma’s 90th birthday, Dads 60th, Mum and Dad’s golden wedding or even a full wedding, this is the venue for you! Ground Floor A lovely large fully fitted country style kitchen equipped with an american style fridge freezer, range master dual fuel cooker with two large ovens, a separate 2 ring electric hob and microwave (x2). Breakfast room - Lovely cosy room, with original beamed ceiling, pine dresser, table & chairs and a small TV. Access from here to Lounge 1. Also a staircase leading to rooms 7 & 8, which is serviced by chairlift. Lounge 1 - Painted stone walls, log burning stove and exposed beams. Comfortable settees and arm chair make seating for at least 8 people. Flat screen TV, full Sky package and DVD player. Formal Dining Room - Large room that can accommodate 20. Beautiful inglenook with wood burner and a large bay window overlooking the front of the house and drive. Lounge 2 - A beautiful cosy room, with exposed beams, where you can sit, relax and take in the views, listen to music, or read. Main Lounge - Large room with fantastic views over the garden, and surrounding countryside. Seating for up to 18 people. Large flat screen TV with DVD player, and a log burning stove which is set in a beautiful brick fireplace. Patio doors lead out to a large, private, enclosed patio and garden area. Here you will find a luxurious hot tub & dog pound. Upstairs All the bedrooms include luxury furniture with plenty of storage space, freeview TVs and wonderful views of the surrounding gardens and countryside. Bedroom 1 – (Sleeps up to 4). Large room with super king, single bed (room for extra single bed if needed) and en-suite shower room. (Super king bed can be divided to 2 singles on request). Bedroom 2 – (Sleeps 3). Double and single beds, suitable for parents as it can also accomodate a cot. Small en-suite shower & WC with vanity wash unit in the bedroom. Bedroom 3 – (Sleeps 2). King size bed with large en-suite (double shower). Bedroom 4 – (Sleeps 2). Double bed and en-suite with shower over bath. Bedroom 7 - (Sleeps 2). Serviced by chair lift as well as stairs. Twin beds and en-suite with WC and wash basin. Bedroom 8 – (Sleeps up to 3). Serviced by chairlift as well as stairs. Super King bed or 2 singles (room for extra single bed if needed). Step leading up to en-suite shower room. Second Floor Bedrooms 5 & 6 have a private staircase, making these rooms ideal for a family unit. Bedroom 5 – (Sleeps 2). King size bed (or twin beds on request) that can also accommodate a cot. En-suite shower room. Bedroom 6 - (Sleeps up to 2). Single room, can accommodate another single, or camp bed. Small but lovely room, ideal for children / teenagers. Step down into en-suite shower room. Garden The house is set in 3 acres of stunning grounds and guests are welcome to use all the garden area. This includes a giant size chess board, croquet set, seating areas around the garden, a barbeque area, and a grass tennis court. There is also an enclosed paddock, where you can play football, practice your golf, or exercise your dog. You also have access from the paddock down to the River Dee. Guests renting the country house also have exclusive use of the 6 person hot tub, situated in the private patio and garden area. 2 ground floor WC’s and laundry room (shared facility) Rear lobby with built in cupboards for storage of coats, shoes and wellies. Communal games room including snooker table and dart board. Bed linen, hand and bath towels included Heating and electricity included The owner requires a £250 refundable deposit prior to arrival (payable by cheque) which will be refunded post departure. Cot and highchair (by prior arrangement) Ample off road parking. Pets welcome – 2 max, no dogs under 1 yr old. Less than 20 guests? It's possible to close off a small part of the house, leaving 6 bedrooms (£70 less). The small lounge and stair lift would then be inaccessible. More than 20 guests? There are 2 other self catering cottages on site as well: Grooms Cottage and Stable Cottage. They can sleep another 8 people. N.B We do not cater for stag parties. |
