Cycling in Anglesey - Benllech Cycle Path

Hebog Circular Cycle Path is a 22 mile route from Benllech on the East coast of Anglesey, North Wales. There is also a 12 mile shorter version that excludes the Llandyfrydog and Cefni Reservoir loops. The full tour takes just over 3 hours.
Anglesey is excellent for birds of prey such as peregrine, sparrow hawk, buzzard, kestrel, merlin and hebog (Welsh for falcon).
Start/finish at the public library in Benllech. Expect a steady climb from Traeth Lligwy to Mynydd Bodafon with some short steep sections. The remainder of the tour is relatively easy.
Highlights along the way include Lligwy Beach, Mynydd Bodafon, Brynefail Craft Centre, Din Lligwy, Cefni Reservoir and spectacular views across Anglesey and over to Snowdonia.
