Come to Wales and Britain’s ‘town of books’ for ten glorious days of music, comedy, argument and literature. The festival is held at the end of May every year and attracts leading writers and poets as well as plenty of celebrities.
Held at the National Show Ground in Builth Wells the festival has many aspects including competitions, exhibitions, shows, farmers market, food and craft stalls and lots of entertainment and activities.
The Royal Welsh Showground is located in arguably one of the most picturesque areas of Wales, and hosts a wide variety of events all year round. Amongst the largest events are the Spring Festival in May, Royal Welsh Show in July, and the Winter Fair in December.
The National Eisteddfod of Wales will be held at Meifod from 1-8 August 2015. An eclectic mix of old and new, the traditional and the modern, the Eisteddfod is a celebration of Wales, its culture and its language.
