A great, central base to explore Mid Wales and beyond, with the A470 (the main route that connects North and South Wales) being just over a mile away. However, with your own coffee machine, two woodburners, tranquility and breath-taking views all around, you might just choose to sit back, relax and do absolutely nothing.

Foel Fach ticked all the boxes for us, the cottage has it all, a great place to stay so quiet and peaceful, the views are to die for, Sue & Edward (the owners) have thought of everything, a lot of time has been spent making the cottage beautiful, they are a lovely couple, would love to return in the spring, we enjoyed exploring the area.

Absolutely stunning cottage with stunning views, comfortable and cosy, especially when log burner is lit. Very well equipped with everything you need and some real lovely touches, with the fairy lights in the bedrooms.
Thank you for the cakes, wine and flowers! Another lovely personal touch. weather has been really kind and we were able to do lots of things, including, walking up Cader Idris, and walk to the source of the Severn in Hafren Forest.
We will definitely be returning as many times as possible, to this beautiful cottage, in what is a fab location.
Thank you Sue, Edward and girls for the warm, friendly welcome and making it a joy to stay here

Thank you Sue & Edward, we have appreciated the fantastic views of the Welsh countryside and enjoyed watching the changing weather patterns. The serenity of the cottage and surrounding countryside gave us the opportunity to completely relax. You have made Foel Fach a comfortable, gorgeous cottage, which is furnished to a very high standard. Thank you for the lovely flowers, cake etc, also the girls for their lovely Welsh cakes. We were lucky enough to see a wild deer (early morning). Wildlife included, birds, frogs, pheasants and rabbits!
Would be lovely to have a return visit.

Foelfach is the best 5* cottage we have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, with as expected, all the modern equipment. The welcome hamper was extremely generous and the fresh flowers greatly appreciated! The views are superb. We have never seen the wet weather "come in" so clearly and the peacefulness was a joy! Thank you, Sue, Edward and the girls for making our stay so pleasureable.

Foelfach is a feast for the eyes! The stonework tells part of the story of the building, and the eye catching decorations are a constant visual stimulus. It was a great pleasure to meet Edward & Sue and talk a little about earlier times. We wish you continued success in your venture here in Powys
