Size of the house was super for our family of ten, plenty of room. Lovely to have such a large dining table for us all and the kitchen was a good size and quite well equipped. Bedrooms good size too. A lovely clean house and very comfortable. Aberdovey is a nice place to visit and the beach is really nice. Centre for Alternative Technology and King Arthur's Labrinth were also good places to visit with the children.

Wonderful property, lovely and welcoming hosts. Stunning scenery.
Tips: Visit Snowdonia National Park, stunning scenery, water sports and a trip up Snowdon are available. Slate mines are interesting and well worth a visit.

Excellent location for our family get-together. The hot tub was appreciated especially by the younger ones in our party. Pond dipping and catching crabs were highlights too. Enjoyed meals at The Dovey Inn, Aberdyfi, The White Lion and The Wynnstay Hotels in Machynlleth. All provided excellent food for 10 people of mixed ages although service a little slow at Wynnstay probably because we had booked for Sunday lunch.

Great fun. Hot tub a real hit. Lots to do even in the rain.
Recommendations: Harlech and North Wales, Black Lion Pub, Corris, Aberdovey beach, Devil's Bridge by steam train from Aberystwyth.
