Open plan lounge / kitchen with exposed beams throughout. Modern, fully fitted kitchen including washing machine, fridge freezer, electric hob & oven, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen area also features a stylish breakfast bar, with 4 stools.
The cosy lounge has a brick fireplace, with an electric fire and two 2 seater settee’s. TV with free view channels, DVD player and CD/Radio. The staircase at the far end of the lounge leads to the luxury bedrooms upstairs.
Upstairs
Luxury double bedroom, with exposed beams and en-suite shower/WC. Includes bedside tables, built in wardrobe and latch doors.
The cosy twin bedroom also has en-suite shower & WC and includes two x 3ft single beds, double wardrobe, bedside cabinet, table & chair.
Garden
Grooms holiday cottage, North Wales is set in nearly 3 acres of stunning grounds and as guests of the cottage you have access to Rose Garden, Orchard Garden with seating areas, BBQ's, children's play area, giant draughts set and games room (details below). There is also an enclosed paddock, where you can play football, practice your golf, or exercise your dog. You also have access from the paddock down to the River Dee. "100% in every way!" Really enjoyed this holiday from start to finish, the couple who own the cottages are very friendly, warm, welcoming and can not do enough for you.
The cottages are decorated to a very high standard and have everything you could possibly need.
Added bonus was the games room with a full size snooker table and pool table.
Very dog friendly too, plenty of land for them to have a good run, safely!
Will be heading back as soon as we can!

"Beautifully and newly decorated cosy cottage near all the gorgeo" The owners have done a wonderful job renovating this adorable 2-bedroom cottage in North Wales. Everything feels new, yet really tasteful. We brought two small children and felt very welcomed with the cottage decorated for Christmas and a high chair and travel cot waiting for us when we arrived. Terry and Toni are also very friendly and we felt like we were in good hands if we wanted recommendations on things to do in the area. The kitchen is very spacious and fun to cook in and the sofas and fireplace are so lovely and cosy.
The bedrooms are very close to one another so if you bring small children, a noise machine or fan might help you! We always travel with white noise :) |

"A beautiful cottage in lovely Welsh valley" We stayed 4 nights at "Grooms Cottage" and it was really relaxing. The owners, Toni and Terry, couldn't have been more accommodating - they lent us an extra bed, a high chair for our toddler, and even posted back a pair of slippers our daughter had managed to hide under a sofa.
The property is in a beautiful and quiet river valley and is not too far to drive to Llangollen or to the lovely Snowdonia National Park. Would we stay there again? Absolutely! |
