Glyndwr Holiday Cottage is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in North Wales, with stunning views for miles around. Within a short walk of the local pub, the cottage overlooks the historic market town of Mold which holds a traditional street market every Wednesday and Saturday. Local activities includes mountain biking, fishing, horse riding and even white water rafting, whilst the Roman City of Chester is only a short drive away.
The cottage has taken its name from Owain Glyndwr, the famous Welsh prince who fought for Welsh independence during the 15th century.

Glyndwr Holiday Cottage includes a living area with Freeview TV, DVD collection and a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside. An adjoining kitchen and diner with french doors looking out at the patio area. There is also a fully tiled ground floor shower room.

This luxury holiday cottage consist of one single room, a twin room and a double room. All bedrooms are centrally heated, with quality pine furniture, and decorated with a country theme in mind.

Outside the cottage, you will find a garden and patio to the side/rear.

The historic walled city of Chester is less than 30 minutes away - its roman history and tudor shops make it well worth a visit. Snowdonia National Park and Balg lake are also within an hours drive.
If the seaside is what you're looking for, than Llandudno is a throw back to victorian times and would also be worth a visit. The cities of Manchester and Liverpool are also within easy reach.
This is a tranquil location with activities such as walking, mountain biking, golf, fishing, horse riding, swimming and white water rafting which you can arrange.

MOLD WEEKLY MARKETS
Mold street markets are usually held on Wednesday and Saturday. The markets extend from Mold High Street to the Daniel Owen Square, where you will find a thriving indoor market which is open daily from Monday to Saturday. Both market buyers and traders travel from miles around and hold the market in high esteem as one of the best in the country. Mold markets feature a wide variety of items at competitive prices.

MOEL FAMAU & LOGGERHEADS COUNTRY PARKS
Within only several miles of Mold, Moel Famau Country Park presents visitors with incredible views from a 1,818 ft peak above sea level. The park boasts over 2000 acres of Clwydian Hills, which feature bronze age burial mounds and remains of three Iron Age hill forts. Alternatively, Loggerheads County Park offers 67 acres of stunning parkland, and is home to the famous 'Leete' watercourse. 'Leete' was responsible for the operation of several mining waterwheels across the valley.
