Ger y Foel self-catering cottage is located in the little village of Mynytho on the Lleyn Peninsula. The Post Office is just round the corner from the cottage with Llanbedrog, 1.5 miles away offering a great sandy beach and pub. Another great beach and a wide range of amenities including some great restaurants, shops and a little supermarket can be found 2 miles away in Abersoch.
The Lleyn Peninsula, where the Welsh language and way of life still flourish, is renowned for its beautiful beaches and water sport. With nearly 100 miles of stunning coastline, an array of hills of varying height inland plus the majestic mountains of Snowdonia on your doorstep, it’s also a great place to come for a walking holiday.
Take a boat trip to Bardsey Island, a former site of religious pilgrimage, try your hand at fishing, horse-riding or golf and enjoy go-karting, ten-pin bowling, archery etc at Glasfryn Parc. Plas Glyn-y-Weddw, a magnificent Manor with galleries, beautiful gardens and tea room with sea views is well worth a visit, whilst Ffestiniog Railway, castles and the Italian village of Portmeirion are all nearby.

Ger y Foel luxury self-catering cottage is located near Abersoch, North Wales. Set in a quiet cul-de-sac in the small village of Mynytho, this large, spacious house offers the perfect base to explore the countryside and beautiful coastline surrounding Llyn Peninsula. Beaches, restaurants, countryside walks, castles and boat trips are all on your doorstep.
Ground Floor
Bright and light, warm and cosy the sitting room has a generous 3 piece suite, solid wood floor, TV and nest of tables. Double French doors open up to a pretty dining suite with ladder back chairs seats 6 around a pine table with views of the garden via patio windows.
The stylish kitchen with slate coloured worktops and complimentary tiles is beautifully finished in light oak. Fully equipped, including cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge.
The ground floor also includes a cloakroom (WC and washbasin); utility room (additional sink) and spacious garage (chest freezer and washing machine).
Upstairs
Light and airy spacious bedrooms offer comfortable furnishings and lovely views. 1 Double en-suite with shower, toilet and washbasin and 2 twin bedded rooms. The bathroom offers a full suite with shower over bath.
Garden
Patio doors from the dining room overlooks a totally private lawn with picnic table, garden chairs and umbrella - a lovely area for relaxation.
