Coat-room - The backdoor opens into the cloakroom, which also houses the washing-machine. Ideal for walkers with muddy shoes!

Tanrallt Holiday Cottage, Betws y Coed is surrounded by beautiful Snowdonia countryside and is just 1.5 miles from the picturesque village itself. Just off the A470, with stunning views of both the Lledr and Conwy Valleys the cottage offers a private, tranquil setting. The village of Betws-y-Coed, Snowdonia has award winning restaurants, a choice of pubs, grocery shops and gift shops. Llanrwst (approx 4 miles) has a supermarket and more restaurants and pubs.
Situated right in the heart of Snowdonia, popular attractions include the village of Betws-y-Coed and Swallow Falls, Conway Falls, Fairy Glen, Snowdon with its Mountain Railway, Dolwyddelan Castle and Llechwedd Slate Caverns at nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog. Also, further along the coast are Bodnant Gardens and Conwy Castle.

Gwydir Forest to Pont y Pair Bridge – 5 mile walk starting from Betws-y-Coed. Suitable for all ages (2-3 hours). 1.5 miles from cottage.
Llanrwst Walk – Llanrwst. Easy / moderate 3.5 mile circular walk (approx 2 hours). 5 miles from cottage.
Geirionydd & Crafnant Lakes (passing Fairy Falls) – Trefriw. Moderate circular walk (approx 3 hours). 7 miles from cottage.
Llyn Cowlyd (Snowdonia Leisure Walk) – Trefriw. Moderate / strenuous walk (approx 3 hours). 7 miles from cottage.
Moel Siabod (Snowdonia mountain walk) – Capel Curig. Rewarding route for experienced walkers. 7 miles from cottage.
Carneddau (Snowdonia mountain walks) – Challenging walks, including the 2nd and 3rd highest peaks in Wales. Nearest route starts in Helyg, Capel Curig. 7 miles
