A very relaxing stay in a lovely cottage in fantastic scenery. We'll definitely return!
Tips: Take a walk up Cader Idris, visit Corris Mine Explorers for an underground tour with Mark, visit Lake Vyrnwy and enjoy the many walks through the hills & mountains.

Beautiful, fantastically clean property - everything felt almost new.
Beautiful surroundings - very peaceful & relaxing. The additional games room and board games were a wonderful bonus. The weather near the cottage did not encourage the walking we thought we might do - but rain at the cottage did not mean rain at the beach and we enjoyed lots of time there. The fire pit was enjoyed so we left feeling relaxed and refreshed - with children planning to return to the same cottage again next year! Barmouth beach is great for a simple, clean, sandy beach (with wonderful sand dunes). There are amusement arcades too. Powis Castle was great - especially the castle which is not the bit most advertised! Loved the steam trains too.

First visit to this fantastic retreat. We could not have hoped for a better place to spend the weekend. Thank you for preparing such an immaculate cottage, it was all the things we needed, cozy, comfortable, warm, well stocked and located in the beautiful welsh countryside. We massively appreciated the selection of board games. Balderdash went down a storm. No storms though thankfully as the weather was beautiful from lake Bala to the beach of Barmouth.

Fantastic cottage, super countryside and vistas! We had a trip up to Snowdon, well they told us it was Snowdon, but with 10ft visibility and 50mph winds, it was more like a Dr Who set, but still the best day of the holiday!

Great cottage, very friendly owner. We really enjoyed MTB, the Mawddawch Trail and Coed-y-Brenin
