Beautifully modernised cottage with spacious rooms and a relaxed feel. Exceptionally well-equipped. Great views from every window. The owners were friendly and super helpful. Fantastic area for walking with Cadair Idris on the doorstep.
Recommends: Places to eat in Dolgellau, walk down the hill into town then order a taxi back.

It was a pleasure to stay in the cottage. Peaceful location, very well equipped and spotlessly clean.
Tips: Not to rely on the 'local' taxi service as they were not very reliable or very flexible. One firm only takes a booking if you use him both ways so if you want to walk one way it is unlikely you will get a taxi back! Don't forget to take a torch.

Beautifully restored and well equipped cottage in an idylic rural location and fascinating region...Dolgellau is a treat to visit ...wish we could stay longer...Margaret is a very gracious host. Best of Wales system was easy to use and communication was excellent. Thanks!
Tips: Take time to walk in the hills.
Friends form Kelowna, Canada, Sep 2016

    Very good. Beautiful location.
Recommendations: Portmeirion, Harlech Castle, waterfall walks.
    Couple from Nottinghamshire, Jul 2016

An idyllic cottage set in the hillside, but near enough to walk into Dolgellau.
Recommendations: Eat at Tafarn y Gader - for Sunday lunch and evening Tapas. Excellent.
