Pet friendly and near beach

Pet friendly Holiday Cottage within walking distance of 2 great beaches. Deuraeth (a Welsh word for 2 beaches) Holiday Cottage is an ideal setting for a family holiday or for a get-together with friends. The coastline is famous for its dolphins and you can watch these magnificent mamals from the shoreline, or via a local boat trip. The beaches are family friendly and also offer great surfing, fishing and rock-pooling. The All Wales Coastal Path can be joined nearby and the Poppit Rocket (bus service) can do drop offs or pick ups along its route. There are lovely local shops where you can pick up something unique as a special reminder of your holiday. If you play golf, then a visit to Newport Golf Club is a must and the views from the course are stunning, no matter how well you play. Cycling and fishing are well catered for and then you can relax and sample some of the fabulous local produce in a great selection of eating places.

My wife and I have spent many many years in the area on holidays and we can honestly say that this is the finest rental accommodation we have ever been in. It is absolutely faultless with many delightful little touches. We can genuinely say that we have found West Pembrokeshire’s ‘HIDDEN GEM’. We shall return as my wife and dog are already missing it. Thank you Gill!

Thank for wonderful comfortable few days in your gorgeous house. You have thought of everything to make your visitors to feel at home, even teddy on the bed. We have managed to pack a lot into 4 days and are looking forward to our visit next May. We did enjoy all the thoughtful goodies you left for us.

A great homely house, in a wonderful location close to two beaches which were dog friendly. The house itself had everything you could need including a welcome pack and was very clean. Enough space for four adults and two kids to not be on top of each other. Very secure for the children too as there was a fence surrounding the property.
It was quite difficult to find pubs which accepted dogs, I would recommend the Golden Lion which served great food and the dog could come too.

Absolutely perfect. Everything anyone could ever need is here. Thank you for all the thoughtful touches including the chewy bone for the dog. A lovely walk to Aber Foest where you will find a hidden waterfall and probably a deserted beach. Dinas island is a really good walk beware though it is very windy. We are sad to leave ‘home from home’ but will definitely be coming back... as soon as possible.

We were thrilled when we pulled up outside after our trip from Frodsham. Then we saw the treats, thank you Gill. You have thought of everything the house is a credit to you, clean, cosy, family friendly and well equipped with lovely towels and bedding. The location is perfect for exploring the area, the beaches are all fab. The coastal farm just outside Cardigan is well worth a visit. My parents in law loved the gardens at Dyffryn Ffyrnant when they visited. We have had a wonderful week and as Arnie says, we’ll be back!
