Comfortable accommodation, lovely location, peaceful, easy access to the Coastal Path

Eat at The Shed in Porthgain for posh fish and chips - can take away but booking essential to eat there as space limited. Walk the coast path to Solva and visit the Harbour Cafe for refreshment before walking back!

Take a short drive to St. David's and Whitesands Bay.

Relaxing, cosy, great base for exploring the area
You've got to walk the coast path !

“Very comfortable but not suitable for young bouncy dogs”

The cottage itself was excellent, very comfortable and contained everything we needed, and the views were superb. The only down-side was that the balcony was unprotected and on the first day one of my dogs jumped up to see what we were looking at and I had to grab him quickly to stop him jumping over. I would highly recommend this location to people without dogs, or with older/smaller dogs.

    “Very Nice”

We found this cottage lovely, with a great view from the elevated terrace out into St Brides Bay it is also very comfortably furnished, it had everything you needed for a relaxing stay, the weather was kind to us so we did not need the facilities but there was an abundance of board games etc and TV with a good selection of Dvd's to entertain you if the weather is inclement. There was plenty of information available for guests regarding things to do and local attractions. As we were intending to do a lot of coastal path walking, we found the walk from the cottage on the main road to get onto a footpath a bit hairy, it's only a 100yds but no path and it is by a bend.

“Excellent design and use of space, lovely sea view.”

Advantages being on the first floor include great views of countryside and the sea, although the steep steps would not suit all. A light and airy appartment, with well designed use of space. Heating and hot water very good, plus airing space to dry wet clothes. Location excellent for accessibility to wonderful coastline and countryside.
