Have had a lovely time here at Cysgod y Fynnon, this has been our favourite holiday yet - easily beating island hopping in Croatia earlier in the year! Pembrokeshire is gorgeous and the walking has been awsome - get out there! The cottage has provided everything e could have wished for. Especially loved sitting out on finer evenings with a cup of tea and a blanket. Will be returning.

We've had a wonderful 5-day break here in Pembrokeshire. Solfach is a particular favourite as are the stunning beaches are Caerfai, Porthgain, Traeth Mawr, Niwgwl and Abereiddi. This cottage has been perfect for us - (a couple and a baby).
It's very well equipped with everything you could possibly need.

"A remote and snug hideaway" Couldn't fault it. Tiny cottage perfectly equipped with lovely furnishings. Despite the worst weather November could throw at us we had a lovely break beside the crashing surf and ever changing sky. Private garden ideal for dog |

"comfortable and relaxing in a good location" Coachman's cottage offered us comfortable and spacious accommodation for 2. It was furnished to a good standard and well equipped. It's location, approx 1/2 mile through woods to coastal path, was ideal and the south facing patio (gets sun throughout day) was good to relax on. |

"Fabulous cottage in a fabulous spot" Coachmans cottage had everything we expected. The location is superb - between Solva and St Davids. Any walkers would enjoy the coastal walks to either place. We had wall to wall sunshine with bitterly cold winds but the cottage was so warm with the central heating.Lovely to sit out on the terrace in the evening sunshine. Very peaceful and private which we really appreciated. The owner was very welcoming as was the welsh cakes and tea. Solva and St Davids offer many places to eat out. A very homely feel to the cottage and we will be certainly be back again whenever we decide to take a break in this area. My husband and I were delighted with the cottage even though we are very tall people!!! |

"Everything anyone would want for a short or long stay." The fact that the five days ( four nights) flew by says it all. We were welcomed with Welsh cakes and tea and found everything we could possibly have needed in the cottage. it was comfortable and accessible to surrounding places either by car (parking immediately outside our own front door) by bus (good service) or on foot along the Coast Path which is only a short walk from the cottage. Walks in both directions along the coast are easy to do one-way as the buses, normal service and walkers shuttles are there all year. The only reason we give a probable for the next question is that some of our very tall friends would find the low ceilings and sloping sections of ceilings a bit of a problem. Some people might be put off by the wood lice (in the bathroom mainly) but you expect them in old buildings. We were not put out by them at all. Overall, a great place and one we would be happy to spend a couple of weeks in |

"Beatifully Relaxing" We had a fantastic stay at the Coachman's Cottage. After a long drive down, the tea, milk and welsh cakes were a fab touch. We were so impressed with the cottage, perfect space for 2 people (or more if you have young ones with you). Our first evening, we went for a long coastal walk towards St. David's (make sure you read through the 'things to do in the area' folder!) and we went for a lovely homely meal at The Cambrian. The second day, we went Coasteering at a centre in Mathry - fantastic! We would not recommend this unless you are with an instructor or know what you are doing though! That evening, we went to The Old Pharmacy in Solva for a delicious meal. We had a well-deserved, relaxing break and the Coachman's cottage was more than we expected. Enjoy your stay! |

Have really enjoyed our few days away. Walked from the door to Porth y rhaw and Solva, also did a circular walk around st davids and head and also along coast path heading south from Solva - lovely sea views from the top of gribin. Returned to Solva for a meal at the Cambrian Inn which is great when walking as they serve food all day everyday -very friendly and not expensive. Loved swallows cottage- really cosy and warm and the welsh cakes, milk and tea tray was a lovely welcome. Our dog loved the adjoining field and what a super view of the sea from the patio. would love to comeback again.
