A dog friendly holiday cottage in St Davids, Pembrokeshire. Ysgubor holiday cottage is located on a working organic farm. A half mile walk across the farmer's land takes you to the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coastal Path that runs along the rugged high cliffed coast of the northern edge of the beautiful St Davids peninsula. The cottage is also close to Blue Flag rated Whitesands beach.
Ysgubor dog friendly holiday cottage has a large kitchen/dining room with high quality fitted units and a ‘family sized’ table that will seat six people in comfort. The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner gas hob with extractor fan above, electric oven and grill, microwave, kettle and toaster, refrigerator with freezer compartment, washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is ample crockery, cutlery and glassware (even picnic ware!) plus pots and pans and a variety of kitchen tools.
The living room has two large two-seater settees, wide-screen television with Freeview box, DVD and video players, CD/radio/cassette player plus a good selection of books and games. Ysgubor holiday cottage in St Davids retains some original features and is decorated with works by local artists and art depicting the local area.
Two cosy bedrooms, one twin and one double.
The bathroom is located between the bedrooms and has tiled walls and floor, a bath with overhead pressurised shower, W.C. and wash-hand basin.
Private, fully enclosed patio area with wooden picnic table and chairs, shallow steps lead to a grassed area with clothes drying line.
Guests staying at Ysgubor holiday cottage in St Davids are welcome to walk through the farm's land to join the path, just three fields away. There is also a farm pond.
Gas, electricity, central heating/hot water included
Bed linen and hairdryer provided. Please bring your own towels and tea towels.
Cot and highchair can be provided on request (please bring your own cot bedding).

Ysgubor adjoins Ty Blawd cottage and both can be booked to accommodate up to 8 people.
Cottage is approached by farm track. This is fine for general cars but not suitable for low sports cars.

Great spot for walking the coast, amazing views and beaches. Friendly welcome Tons of coastal walks to enjoy. Great fish and chips in St Davids! Nice place to eat fish or cream tea, called The Shed at Porth Gain. Pleasant wooded walk at Lawrenny and good pub, The Lawrenny Arms

Ysgubor dog friendly holiday cottage in St Davids adjoins one other cottage and is set on a working farm, 2 miles to the north of Britain's smallest city. The farm stretches down to the famous Pembrokeshire coastal path, and numerous cycle routes run nearby.
St Davids is a beautiful and unique city situated within Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and is surrounded by some of the finest coastline in Europe. Granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II because of the presence of the cathedral, St Davids is in reality a small beautiful village. Many people have fallen to the charm of St Davids including current New Zealand rugby Coach Graham Henry who refers to St Davids as his favourite place in the World.
Managed and maintained by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds Ramsey Island lies only a mile off-shore. Teaming with birdlife on it and sealife around it the island is definitely worth a visit. Boat trips including trips to the Island and Dolphin and Whale watching can be booked in St Davids.
Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Join this beautiful path just 0.5 miles from the doorstep by simply walking across 3 fields from Ysgubor holiday cottage in St Davids.
Whitesands Bay - This blue-flagged beach is popular with families because of its safe swimming and clean white sand. Also regarded as one of Wales’ top surf-spots. 2 miles
Caerfai Bay – Lovely sandy, sheltered beach - perfect for families. 2.8 miles
Newgale - Magnificent two mile long stretch of wide flat sand with a huge pebble bank behind it. Powerful swells roll in here at all times of the year. 9.2 miles
Caerbwdi Beach – Beautiful rocky beach perfect for snorkelling. The rocks here are red sandstone and it is from here that the rock was quarried for St Davids Cathedral. 3.1 miles
For sea fishing, only a short walk from the cottage there are many coves and rocky marks that provide superb Sea fishing, including some of the best Bass fishing in the UK. 0.5 miles.
Local Boat Trips - Fishing and Sightseeing trips from St Justinians. 3 miles
National Cycle Route 4 (or NCR 4) is only a short distance form the cottage and actually runs from London to Fishguard. Mainly on quiet country roads. 0.3 miles.
For off road cycling Llys-Y-Fran is a large country park just outside Haverfordwest. 27 miles
TYF Adventure includes canoeing, kayaking, coastering and much more. 2.4 miles
St Davids City Golf Club is one of three distinctive nine-hole gems that exist along the twenty-mile stretch of the North Pembrokeshire coast. 2.2 miles
