Ty Bedwen cottage for two is located on a working farm some 2.5 miles to the north of Britain's smallest city St Davids, Pembrokeshire. Renovated from an old farm outbuilding this St Davids holiday cottage is set in a spacious area opposite the main farm house and across the courtyard from 3 other luxury holiday cottages. Beautiful views of the Pembrokeshire countryside from the cottage and private patio area.
Surrounded by some of the finest coastline in Europe the city of St Davids lies by the River Alun and is located on the St David's peninsula. Granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II because of the presence of the cathedral, St Davids is in reality a small beautiful village. Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park St Davids is surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery renowned for its beauty and abundance of wildlife.
Whitesands Bay, one of the many beautiful beaches near this St Davids holiday cottage, carries the prestigious European Blue Flag Award. St Davids Cathedral has been the dominant presence in the area since the 12th century and was a popular pilgrimage destination throughout the Middle Ages and indeed remains so to this day attracting thousands of visitors every year. Adjacent to the cathedral stand the magnificent ruins of the medieval Bishops Palace. The city of St Davids has a great deal to offer every visitor. Many people have fallen to the charm of St Davids including current New Zealand rugby Coach Graham Henry who lists St Davids as his favourite place in the World.
Ramsey Island is well worth a visit during your stay at this St Davids holiday cottage for two. It is a dramatic off-shore island, a mile off Pembrokeshire’s coast. The island covers approximately 600 acres and features 400ft high cliffs, which teem with breeding seabirds and is now owned by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. Ramsey Island is accessible by a regular boat service from St Justinian’s, which crosses the spectacular Ramsey sound, with its infamous and treacherous reef known as the Bitches. The island is home to several thousand seabirds in the season, including razor-bills, kittiwakes, fulmers, chough, guilliemot, raven, peregrine and puffin. The caves and beaches around Ramsey are breeding grounds for the largest concentration of grey seals who give birth to over 400 white coated pups during the Autumn.

Caerbwdi Beach – Beautiful rocky beach perfect for snorkelling. The rocks here are red sandstone and it is from here that the rock was quarried for St Davids Cathedral. 3 miles
