“An ideal spot”
We travelled with two children (aged 8 and 3), and it was nice to have a peaceful, secure location for them. On the first morning we had a problem with the electricity, but were really impressed by David's excellent service: he moved us into another cottage immediately. So, having seen two cotaages on the site, we can confirm that they are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. |

“Cool place - but nice and warm and welcoming”
Just come back from week staying in Ty Eithin. Found place and host to be very relaxed and just what we needed. Is a drive out of St Davids so car essential, but we ended up eating a lot at the barn since there is all mod cons and new Ikea things to play with. Stock up on way at Morrisons in Carmarthen or Haverfordwest for some great food bargains altho there is a smaller NISA in town. Cottage always felt nice and warm due to underfloor pipes/heating and this is great when you come in having been caught in a shower etc. Bed was very comfortable, although you have got to be careful not to bang your head in bedrooms in loft.
There is a nice private garden which is great for the dog and farm was a good base for some nice runs if you are into that. There are amazing beaches within 10-15 mins drive - the best require you to park up and take a stroll over the cliffs but well worth it - Porthmelgan, Porth sele, Traeth lyffn all great - some of the big beaches like Whitesands and Newgale are lovely, but are part/all dog un friendly so check this out before you unpack everything. Area around St Davids felt like the best parts of Devon and Cornwall without the masses so maybe I should keep review quiet. Well recommended. |

“Nice new conversion”
Friendly welcome with farmer/owner and sheepdogs living across yard. The barn conversion is to a good general specification, though a separate shower would have been useful and the TV was a bit small. The location suits a car or those with good walking boots (and waterproofs, depending!). St Davids is less than ten minutes' drive away with its attractions and shops for self-catering. We loved the local sheepdog demonstration but wet-weather options are limited, particularly for families.

We enjoyed a lovely stay, thank you David. Having a warm comfortable place to come back to every evening has been great on the wet days. The cottage is very well equipped and our little boy loved being greeted by your dogs when we arrived home. The close beaches are great and we also enjoyed a brilliant afternoon and the Pembrokeshire sheep dogs demonstration. We’d definitely recommend it! Thanks, |

“Realxing, comfortable accomodation with mod cons.”
The barn conversion was nicely with all the necessary modern conveniences for a relaxing stay. The outbuildings which house the dartboard and table tennis table are clearly a work in progress but this did not stop the children from using them.
The property is a couple of miles outside St Davids so for evening entertainment you need to drive. |

Had a lovely week here. Had lovely walks at nearby Trefin and St. Justinians. Walked down the lane to the common most evenings and saw the Buzzards, and then on the pond saw a couple of dragon flies, and best of all a fox out for an early evening stroll! Enjoyed eating out in St.Davids at various places – all good. Lovely cottage, nice a peaceful. |

Thank you so much for letting us stay overnight! It really made the stay enjoyable, much better than a day trip. The house is lovely, underfloor heating is a very welcome feature-although we couldn’t turn it off at night. St Davids is a beautiful place and we’ve had some great times here in the past, at Whitesands, doing coastal walks and pottering around town. The weather this time has made the trip wonderful too. Thanks again. |

Although officially a city, St Davids is in reality a small beautiful village. Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, St Davids is surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery which is renowned for its beauty and abundance of wildlife. St Davids Cathedral has been the dominant presence since the 12th century and was a popular pilgrimage destination throughout the Middle Ages and indeed remains so to this day attracting thousands of visitors every year.

Ramsey Island is accessible by a regular boat service from St Justinian’s, which crosses the spectacular Ramsey sound, with its infamous and treacherous reef known as the Bitches. The island is home to several thousand seabirds in the season, including razor-bills, kittiwakes, fulmers, chough, guilliemot, raven, peregrine and puffin. The caves and beaches around Ramsey are breeding grounds for the largest concentration of grey seals who give birth to over 400 white coated pups during the Autumn.
