Only 2½ miles from the cathedral city of St Davids and just 5 minutes from the family friendly, blue-flag beach of Whitesands Bay. This pet friendly cottage has a shared games room on site, whilst canoeing, windsurfing, kite surfing, sea and freshwater fishing, golf and horse riding all within a few miles.
The cottage is sustainable and environmentally friendly as it is heated using a state of the art wood chip boiler system. This heat source provides underfloor central heating and hot water while significantly reducing our carbon foot print.

Ty Onnen luxury holiday cottage, Pembrokeshire is located on a working dairy farm some 2.5 miles outside the beautiful and unique city of St Davids. The owner prides himself in his sustainable and environmentally friendly heating system that heats the cottage and the other cottages on the farm via a wood chip heating system.
Surrounded by some of the finest coastline in Europe the city of St Davids lies on the River Alun and is located on the St David's peninsula. Granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II because of the presence of the cathedral, St Davids is in reality a small beautiful village. Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, St Davids is renowned for its beauty and abundance of wildlife.
St Davids Cathedral has been the dominant presence since the 12th century and was a popular pilgrimage destination throughout the Middle Ages and indeed remains so to this day attracting thousands of visitors every year. Adjacent to the cathedral stand the magnificent ruins of the medieval Bishops Palace. The city of St Davids has a great deal to offer every guest staying at Ty Onnen luxury holiday cottage, Pembrokeshire. Many people have fallen to the charm of St Davids including current New Zealand rugby Coach Graham Henry who lists St Davids as his favourite place in the World.
Solva is known as the jewel of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, lies only a few miles to the East and is situated on the beautiful West Wales coast. An ideal location for walking, sailing, fishing or simply relaxing amongst the shops, galleries and restaurants set in beautiful scenery. It lies on a deep ravine at the mouth of the River Solva and consists of a long street ending at the small harbour. You will find several local pubs providing great food and atmosphere, there is also a local shop that includes a post office, newsagent and many holiday items such as fishing tackle and beach items. From Solva harbour you can take a boat trip to view the local wildlife or even a fishing trip to catch some fresh fish for a nice BBQ. Quay jumping is a favourite past time of local children, as is crab fishing. Sailboat and water activity courses can also be booked from the quay.
During your stay at this luxury holiday cottage, Pembrokeshire's Ramsey Island is also well worth a visit. It is a dramatic off-shore island, a mile off the St Davids peninsula. The island covers approximately 600 acres and features 400ft high cliffs, which teem with breeding seabirds and is now owned by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. Ramsey Island is accessible by a regular boat service from St Justinian’s, which crosses the spectacular Ramsey sound, with its infamous and treacherous reef known as the Bitches. The island is home to several thousand seabirds in the season, including razor-bills, kittiwakes, fulmers, chough, guilliemot, raven, peregrine and puffin. The caves and beaches around Ramsey are breeding grounds for the largest concentration of grey seals who give birth to over 400 white coated pups during the Autumn.

Whitesands - The blue-flagged Whitesands Bay is a popular family beach because of its safe swimming and clean white sand. It is also regarded as one of Wales’ top surf-spots. 3.6 miles

Newgale - It's a magnificent two mile long stretch of wide flat sand with a huge pebble bank behind it. Powerful swells roll in here at all times of the year. 9.6 miles
Caerbwdi Beach – Beautiful rocky beach perfect for snorkelling. The rocks here are red sandstone and it is from here that the rock was quarried for St Davids Cathedral. 3.3
