Ty Helygen holiday cottage in Pembrokeshire is one of four newly renovated holiday cottages set on a large working farm, 2.5 miles outside St Davids. St Davids is a beautiful and unique city surrounded by some of the finest coastline in Europe. Known as the smallest city in Britain, St Davids is in reality a small beautiful village. Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, it is surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery which is renowned for its beauty and abundance of wildlife.
St Davids Cathedral has been the dominant presence since the 12th century and was a popular pilgrimage destination throughout the Middle Ages and indeed remains so to this day attracting thousands of visitors every year. Adjacent to the cathedral stand the magnificent ruins of the medieval Bishops Palace. The city of St Davids has a great deal to offer every visitor.
Owned and managed by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds Ramsey Island lies only a mile off-shore
and is teaming with birdlife including razor-bills, kittiwakes, fulmers, chough, guilliemot, raven, peregrine and puffin. Newgale - It's a magnificent two mile long stretch of wide flat sand with a huge pebble bank behind it. Powerful swells roll in here at all times of the year. 9.6 miles
Caerbwdi Beach – Beautiful rocky beach perfect for snorkelling. The rocks here are red sandstone and it is from here that the rock was quarried for St Davids Cathedral. 3.3
