A large selection of books, games and dvd’s are on hand.
The following items are also provided at the cottage for your stay… Kitchen: salt and pepper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid/dishwasher tablets, new dishcloths and scourers, tin foil and cling film. Bathroom: liquid hand soap and 2 toilet rolls per toilet. General cleaning products: bleach, shower cleaner, anti bacterial spray etc.
No smoking and no pets.

This superb cottage is set on a small holding with 2 other small cottages Llety Tyn y Coed and Ysgubor y Coed and the owners own property within 50 acres of woodland and countryside.
There is only a very short walk to the popular local restaurant, pub and organic farm shop which sells fresh fish and meat as well as freshly baked bread, Welsh cheese, jams and chutneys. In the shop, you'll also find ready meals prepared by the local restaurant for those special occasions when you don't want to cook.. To the south, the village of Creigiau, which is only 1 mile away, has a golf course, local shop and another pub. 1 mile to the north is another village, Efail Isaf. This also has a good local pub.
Cardiff is just 7.5 miles away and has many attractions and activities, not to mention the world class shopping and entertainment. The Millennium Stadium hosts world class rugby matches and several Rugby World Cup games were held there in 2015. Cardiff is only a short drive away but there is also a bus service that runs directly into the city centre from just under 1 mile away. Sophia Gardens is now a test match cricket venue and hosted the first Ashes match of 2015. Cardiff Castle is well worth a visit, as is Cardiff Bay with its huge freshwater lagoon, International White Water Centre, The Millennium Centre, Olympic Swimming pool, Doctor Who Exhibition, Sailing centre and a wide selection of restaurants and bars.
The Brecon Beacons National Park is only half an hour away with mountains, lakes, waterfalls and, of course, breath-taking scenery. The area is well known for its natural beauty and is great for walking, fishing, cycling or simply relaxing and enjoying the magical surroundings.
The Glamorgan Heritage Coast has some great beaches to suit all, from family friendly sandy beaches with many amenities such as Barry Island, to quiet idyllic hideaways with dramatic cliffs and only accessible on foot. Southerndown and Ogmore are very popular with guests.
The Glamorgan Heritage Coastal Path offers stunning coastline and beaches. There are also many walks from the cottage in the nearby woods and across the countryside. 0.1 miles

Bike Park Wales offers some of the best mountain biking in the UK and is only 15 miles away. Other “off-piste” mountain biking can be done in the woodlands around the cottage. 0.2 miles.
Liege Manor Equestrian Centre is home to over 70 horses and ponies and provides tuition for all ages and abilities. 14 miles.
The Glamorgan Heritage Coast has numerous beaches, ranging from the bustling resort of Barry Island (16 miles), to the stunning beach at Southerndown (18 miles).
The Cardiff International White Water Centre (CIWW) offers canoeing, white water rafting, kayaking, hydro speed and hot-dogging. (All equipment can be provided). 11 miles.
