Fantastic cottage with everything you need.
On arrival day we were surprised and delighted by a welcome pack of amazing Welsh products. Evan is a fabulous host we enjoyed getting to know him. Hot tub is an amazing addition we were in it everyday. Aberdovey beach was our favourite. We were there during Talybont annual fair which was a brilliant day out with the kids. Amazing bakery/cafe and fish and chip shop in Machynlleth

Although we've lived in South Wales all our lives we hadn't had the joy of spending quality time in Mid Wales, and it hasn't disappointed. Our objective,to see many of the Hinterland locations-has been achieved ! We visited Aberystwyth,Devil'sBridge,Hafod Estate,Dolgellau,CregennauLakes, Nant-yr-Arian,Nant-y-Moch,Ynyslas &Borth,CwmRheidol-all have been beautiful.
The cottage has been fabulous-clean,warm and fully equipped. The addition of the hot tub welcomed.
Thank you Evan & Cymro, you've been so lovely. Cymru you are a first class tour guide. The walk up the hill at the back of Evan's house well worth the climb! Wish you well Evan.

Great family holiday, perfect accommodation with added bonus of hot tub. Lovely views and within easy reach of beaches - very dog friendly too. Ynyslas beach - perfect for dog walking and sandcastles. Tan-y-Coed - really nice woodland walk. Vale of Rheidol railway - nice trip through the hills to Devil's Bridge. Nice meal at The Wildfowler in Tre'r-ddol (next village up the road). Nothing more you could have offered really - it was a great holiday, revisiting places we knew as students 20 years ago. The kids loved everything about it and Evan was a wonderful host.

Having lived in Aberystwyth as students 20 years ago,John and I wanted to come back with our family and make some new memories. We are so pleased we found this holiday home-the kids have loved it here especially the hot tub. We have found it to be a brilliant base for exploring the area. Ynyslas beach has been superb all week-but look out for the jelly fish! Ruby the dog has loved the area too-great walks at Nant yr Arian and Tan- y-Coed forestry sites. We also enjoyed a lovely meal at the Wildfowler pub just up the road in Tre'r ddol, very popular it seemed! Evan has been a friendly and generous host all week, always happy to stop for a chat!
Thank you Evan, we have thoroughly enjoyed our time here and we'll be sure to recommend it to family and friends.
