Reviews

Thank you for letting us share your cottage. Everything and more than we expected. Sam enjoyed the freedom of the garden and all the places we visited. Would highly recommend to friends etc. You were a pleasure to meet and will see you again hopefully.

Mr Scott G,

Thank you for a wonderful holiday! What a beautiful cottage, so many thoughtful touches, especially the baby food. We have had a great week, the weather has been mixed but we have really enjoyed exploring anyway. Thank you, we will be back

Mr Peter B,

Blochdy cottage is a lovely cosy cottage, it is well equipped with everything you need. The owner is a lovely friendly lady who goes above and beyond to make everyone welcome even the dog. I would highly recommend Blochdy cottage.

Miss R,

Lovely property and owner but need to let people be aware no washing machine facilities or not allowed to leave pet on its own but brilliant apart from that

Mr G,

Very unusual lovely property. Very quiet with beautiful views from the large back garden over the menai strait and welsh mountains. Property very well equipped with lots of additional extras.

Mrs C,

Lovely cottage, really good location ( for horse riding, Plas Newydd, Newbourough/Llandwyn Island etc) garden was very spacious for us and our beagle and had fabulous views across to the mountains. Property owner was really nice and helpful.

2 – The stunning beach at Newborough is fantastic in the summer for swimming and sunbathing but also breath-taking out of season for walking and admiring the far-reaching views. Always popular over the Christmas period for blowing the cobwebs away!

3 – Foel farm is a treat for the kids with animals to hold and feed, tractor rides, pony rides, a café and chocolate workshop, and all in a lovely setting.

4 – Enjoy award winning food in a relaxed environment at the Marram Grass near Newborough or visit the ever popular Dylans in Menai Bridge for good food in a great location on the Menai Straits.

Or Walk to the tidal Ynys Llanddwyn (Llanddwyn Island) to visit the ancient lighthouse, tiny pilot house terrace museum or ponder the legend of Saint Dwynwen, the welsh patron saint of lovers.
