As dawn breaks on Saturday 27th April 2013 staff members from Best of Wales will join a thousand other riders in setting off on what is one of the most popular and also challenging cycling sportives in the UK. This year the race starts in St David’s and heads north along the Pembrokeshire Coast taking in some of the most breath taking coastal scenery in Europe, visiting Fishguard, Newport and Cardigan the routes then heads inland for the Preseli hills and some seriously challenging mountain sections before returning back to St David’s. There are 3 routes on offer to suit all standards of riding, 50 miles, 75 miles and 100 miles. The Best of Wales team will be on the 100 mile route that does in fact total 109 miles. (Not that we are counting) :)

Best of Wales offer self-catering accommodation for this event with many properties available in St David’s and the surrounding areas. To view a list of accommodation options visit http://www.bestofwales.co.ukWe aim to be finishing in St David’s around tea time and after burning a few thousand calories throughout the day the first stop will have to be at one of the local restaurants or cafes that fortunately St David’s does have in abundance.
