Brecon Mountain Railway
This is a fantastic narrow gage steam railway that winds along the stunning valleys in the Brecon Beacons. Offering stunning views across the mountains and over the village of Pontsticill. The line is the old Brecon to Merthyr route that first opened in 1859 and once included the highest railway tunnel in Great Britain.
Each December in the lead up to Christmas the Santa Special trains are a firm family favourite and well worth a trip.
