Pontcysyllte Aquaduct

The aqueduct runs from Froncysyllte, (well known for its’ choir) to Trevor.  It was designed by Thomas Telford and completed in 1805, it is known as the ‘stream in the sky’ and the tallest canal boat crossing in the world.  The water comes from the nearby Horseshoe Falls in Llangollen.   You can walk or ride across on a boat, but dare you look down?
