Reviews

Great cottage in a peaceful location as described. Spacious and well equipped. Access road is narrow and steep in places but very few other vehicles. We had cuckoos just outside the garden and enjoyed sitting out listening to them on warm evenings. Blinds are missing from the main bedroom windows which need replacing ASAP as it means the sun wakes you up at 5am in summer which is a bit early for a holiday! Also we couldn't work out how to switch the outdoor lights off to be able to see the stars more clearly.

Miss Alison D,

The cottage was the perfect little get away for the week! The location and views from the house were amazing and the owners were more than helpful.

Miss Paige T,

The cottage was in a stunning location, very clean and with good facilities. Booking and getting in was very well communicated

Mrs Charlotte K,

Map

Detached and secluded, this Barmouth self catering accommodation enjoys a stunning location just 2 miles from the seaside town of Barmouth on the North Wales Coast. Set within Snowdonia National Park, the cottage is a stone's throw from the scenic 'Panorama walk', only higher. With the height advantage, it all becomes even prettier - and more private of course.

Barmouth itself has been a popular seaside holiday destination since Victorian times and offers a wide range of amenities. This includes a range of shops and a supermarket and plenty of good restaurants such as Bistro Bermo, The Tilman and The Last Inn. Other recommended places to eat includes The Norbar and Ninteen 57, just a few miles further up the coast.

Amongst the popular attractions in the area, Barmouth itself has a wonderful, Blue Flag Beach with spectacular views of the mountains and lovely walks along the Mawddach Estuary. Portmeirion’s Italian Village and Porthmadog with its Welsh Highland Railway are both well worth a visit, whilst ZipWorld at Blaenau Ffestiniog offers an adrenaline fuelled day out. Add to that the World Heritage Site of Harlech Castle which overlooks one of the best golf courses in the world and the world renowned mountain biking centre at Coed y Brenin near Dolgellau and there is something for everyone, all within a 20 mile radius.
