Tucked away within the stunning mountains of Snowdonia National Park, this idyllic cottage enjoys views of Llyn Celyn lake and is only 6 miles to the market town of Bala. One of two beautiful holiday cottages on site, this detached property provides a peaceful, rural setting with expansive grounds and views to enjoy North Wales at its best. Plenty of attractions and adventures such as the National White Water Rafting Centre and Zip Wire Rides on the doorstep.

Garden

Large, enclosed and private patio area with furniture to enjoy the expansive views of Snowdonia National Park all around you. Charcoal BBQ set also provided.

There is also an additional 5 acre fenced paddock, shared with the other cottage on site, which features a picnic area and view over towards the lake. Two small rivers run through the communal grounds, making it ideal for fishing and inspiring for artists as the scenery lends itself perfectly to paintings.

Hendy'r Nant is located in an idyllic Welsh countryside setting in Snowdonia National Park. It overlooks Llyn Celyn lake in the Tryweryn Valley with the mountains of Arenig Fach and Arenig Fawr to one side. Along with just one other holiday cottage on site, this detached Snowdonia cottage is surrounded by 9.5 acres of grounds that includes two rivers and a wooded area - the perfect getaway from it all.

There’s a small shop for essentials 2.5 miles away and Bala (6 miles) offers a range of amenities from supermarkets, banks and a garage to cafes, restaurants and bars.

If you enjoy outdoor adventures such as walking, water sports and cycling (detailed below) this is the place to be. Rock climbing and gorge walking, Zip Wire rides, underground trampolines and white water rafting add even more spice to the variety and the world renowned mountain biking centre at Coed y Brenin is also a must.

If you need a break from all the adventures, or simply want a relaxing holiday, take a ride on the scenic Bala Lake railway, visit popular attractions such as Portmeirion and Swallow Falls in Betws y Coed, explore the historic market towns of Bala and Dolgellau and enjoy the magnificent scenery as you travel. As a designated site of scientific natural interest, it is also an ideal location for nature lovers and photographers who wish to capture a glimpse of the otters, great crested newts and the abundance of rare birds and wildlife that inhabit the area.
