Reviews

We had an amazing week at this cottage. Comfortable and warm, well equipped, a decent shower and a great location for exploring and walking. The bikes were a real bonus! Loved it!

Mrs H,

The property itself is fabulous, clean, comfy and very handy visiting villages and exploring. The beach is close by and Llanberis is around 20min away with Beddegelert 30min - both well worth visiting. Supermarkets are close by. Our only disappointment was as we arrived late it would have been nice to receive the welcome pack - we were there for a week and neither heard nor saw the hosts or the welcome pack. From past experiences the little things make a big difference- just a knock to say this is me (the host).

Mrs H,

We spent a lovely week here. Would recommend this beautiful house to anyone who likes peace and quiet. House has all the home comforts you may require. You can enjoy a leisurely walk to Caernarfon or explore the area around the house. A very enjoyable holiday, would definitely visit again.

Past Customer,

A stunning house that is even nicer than it's pictures. Spotless, great facilities, spacious. Honestly - there is nothing we would have changed. A fantastic location & perfectly situated for us to explore North Wales. Availability permitting, we will 100% be returning here next year.

Past Customer,

Fantastic holiday home. It is spacious, was perfectly clean and a comfortable place to stay. The beds especially were very comfortable and allowed for a restful nights sleep, this is assisted by the fact there is no noise inside the house, it's very quiet as it has thick stone walls. All the bedrooms are generous and well presented. The living rooms (the are 2) are a lovely place to relax in the evening with fantastic log fires. The kitchen is large and has a good size table in with 6/7 seats.

Past Customer,

Location of the cottage was excellent for exploring. Great walk along the disused railway into Caernarfon. Gypsy Wood within walking distance if you have children under 8. within easy reach for Bodnant Gardens and Anglesey Welsh Highland Railway from Caernarfon to Beddgelert.

Past Customer,

Very relaxed, lovely place all together. Amenities are abundant. Large place, many rooms, all very comfy, two living rooms with a log burner each. What more? We got a generous pack of logs, would recommend, and hope to be back.

Past Customer,

We had a very lovely holiday with our 11 month old.The cottage was perfectly placed for us to explore some of the castles and beaches of North Wales. When we had a power cut and no hot water, the cottage contact quickly sorted that out for us. We were also provided with a travel cot and high chair which made things a lot easier. I would recommend staying at this cottage.

Dr Katherine H,

Me and my family had a lovely break away, however a few details that caused me to score lower than I wanted. Cleanliness was not 4.7 exceptional standard as advertised on website, toothpaste on underside of bathroom sink, dirty pans In oven and cupboard, black mould inside of washing machine. Wifi issues with connection all week, very poor connection to TV, I was hoping to finish some work from the property and was unable to due to connectivity issues. No welcome pack at all and we booked for 6 nights, no items for starting fires etc like firelighters, kindling, just a few logs left in the one room.

Mr Leigh C,

Very happy with our stay!

Miss Gionita S,

Advertised WiFi not working. Owner said they would come & see to it but only after our stay was over.

Mr Jeremy B,

The only problem we had with the property was the heating which the owner programmed it to go off early in the evening leaving us cold and having to but logs for the burner.

Mr Neil P,
