Oswalds Cottage has some lovely original features, including both an open fire and a wood burning stove, complemented by quality modern conveniences and facilities. There is central heating and WiFi throughout, and your dog is welcome, too.

Reviews

Lovely cottage, so peaceful, pub down the road, ordered shopping online, take ways from pub, kitchen very well equipped, dog proof, lovely commute and easy to find using satnav. Very clean and comfortable. Brilliant owner and franstic location.

Mrs T,

Cottage is excellent and has everything you need. Very comfortable and well equipped, especially kitchen items (including many roasting trays for Christmas dinner!) Wood burner in dining room and fireplace in lounge, with logs supplied, make this cottage very warm and cosy. Excellent quiet location, with great walks straight from the house or short car ride away.

Mr W,

We very much enjoyed our stay at Oswald Cottage situated in a quiet hamlet in the south of Snowdonia. Offering spacious accommodation comprising two double bedrooms, a large, well equipped kitchen, dining room and pleasant lounge, the bathroom is also spacious with both a bath and shower. We felt very comfortable staying here. Travelling north east from the property we immediately ascended a mountain pass providing stunning scenery on the way to Barmouth about 35 minutes to the west. Portmadog and Aberwystwyth are about 50 minutes to the north and south. We should mention the welcoming hotel and bar very close by. Thank you to the owners

Mr J,

Delightful cottage in a very peaceful and beautiful location, very clean and well equipped. A good base to tour the area from with 3 good pubs all nearby (2 walking distance).

Miss K,

Beautifully appointed, roomy cottage, a fantastic base for exploring this part of Snowdonia

Mrs P,

We had a lovely holiday staying at Oswalds Cottage which was a beautiful place and as you see from my scores I would recommend it to friends. Only two points to make . 1, the cottage is NOT dog secure my dog was out in the road within the first half hour. and secondly I think it should be said that for anybody with any mobility issues the stairs could be quite a problem. But we loved it and would tell anybody that it was an excellent choice for touring around Snowdonia. Many thanks.

Mrs Jean T,

Lovely cottage in great location - plenty of walks nearby and in easy drivable distance to larger towns. Cottage had all that you could want for a break, coal/wood burning fires, nice bedrooms/bathroom and a well stocked kitchen. Had a very pleasurable stay.

Mr A,
