Abereiddy Beach and the Blue Lagoon
Abereiddy is a pebbly beach made up mainly of shingle and sand. The beach is great for families as facilities include parking yards from the beach, an ice cream van (during season) wheelchair access to the Blue Lagoon, toilets and emergency telephone. A walk along the coastline through National Trust land, takes you to the Blue Lagoon, a popular spot for fossil hunting. Abereiddy beach is particularly rich in fossils of graptolites, an extinct sea creature.
