Reviews

Lovely and comfortable, if quirkily traditionally furnished. Some lovely features to explore, such as old books to browse. Plenty of information left for us about the locality. We felt very much at home in this spaceous property. Very suitable for our young family - just wish we had found the huge number of lovely toys before the end of our stay! Very comfortable firm mattress in the double room. Perfect temperature. Well equipped kitchen, and comfortable dining room bathed in morning sun. Fantastic situation for coastal path, a jaunt up Penberry, or for a short drive to Whitesands.. We were very happy here and if it wasn't 6 hours from home we'd be back. Whitesands Bay. Voyages of Discovery boat trips were amazing. Folly Farm is brilliant for young kids. Saffron were very accommodating of allergies. Bug Farm was good fun. Solva stunning and the sea was lovely to play in at low tide.Family from Oxfordshire - 5th September 2017
It was ideal for a family of 5 as it's spacious for a bungalow and has a good lay out. Our dog was also very happy as it was an enclosed garden. All pretty much as we expected when we booked it. Hot water, shower and heating all worked verywell and it felt very cosy with the open fire. Location is brilliant as so near the sea.
Recommendations: Blue Ocean Adventures for trip to Ramsey Island was excellent - from St Justinians. We also loved coastal walks - from Abereiddy to Porthgain was wonderful if busy on our return! Solva great too for coastal walks... we went to Bug Life and enjoyed a great talk/hands on experience with the owner.Fanily from Hampshire - 22nd April 2017
Felt the site & facilites were 1st class. Get out walking from the site. Walks from easy to challenging.Family from Staffordshire - 6th June 2016
Homely, spacious and perfect for our family's needs. Climb the 'twmp' behind the cottage. Well worth it for the viewsRachel and Family - 2nd September 2015
Wish we could stay forever !!
On arrival we could see that the property was well cared for and the location just as we enjoy, On entering the property we were not disappointed and it just got better as each day went by. Everything there that we could possibly need and more with a location just unbeatable. Just to enjoy each day as it comes and appreciate the beauty of the area, we never feel the need to do visitor attractions, just the walking and splendid views together with the tranquility make our holiday. If you need things to do there are plenty on offer for allMaureen - 29th April 2015
