Description

Y Bera is a former post office in the pretty little village of Abergwyngregyn (known locally as Aber), situated on a beautiful section of the north Wales coast between the walled town of Conwy, 10 miles, and the university city of Bangor, 7 miles. Aber itself is in the Snowdonia National Park and well known for the delightful walk up to Aber Falls, a spectacular waterfall cascading down from the Carneddau mountains.

Ground Floor

Is a stylish mixture of antique and modern furniture, to provide a charming holiday home. There is a small porch and hallway, with space for boots and coats, leading to the sitting room and kitchen/diner.

The sitting room has comfortable sofas, a modern flame-effect wall-mounted fire, flatscreen TV/DVD, iPod dock and WiFi. A welcome tray with homemade cakes is set for arrival and the owners live a short distance away if there are any problems. There is plenty of local information provided for by the owners and lots a lovely personal touches.

The modern, country style kitchen diner has a small table and chairs and is well equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a utility area to the side. Patio doors lead out to the garden with lovely views across the fields to the surrounding hills.

Upstairs

There are two bedrooms on the first floor, a double and a single, both beautifully furnished with a mixture of modern and antique furniture. The single has views to the rear whilst the double looks out to the village and hillside beyond.

Garden

The enclosed lawned garden has a patio area with garden furniture. There is private parking for two cars at the front and bike storage available in the garage.
