First floor apartment is accessed via 1 flight of stairs.

One open plan studio room with stylish fully equipped kitchen including electric cooker and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster and breakfast bar with stools for 2.

The double bed folds down and offers a great night's sleep.

There are 2 relaxing sofa type chairs. TV and DAB radio. A selection of books and DVD's.

  • The following items are also provided at the cottage for your stay… Kitchen: kitchen roll, dishcloth, scourer and brush to wash dishes, washing up liquid. Bathroom: toilet rolls. General products: bin bags, some cleaning products.
  • Bed linen, hand and bath towels, iron and hair dryer included.
  • Heating and electricity included.
  • Up to 2 well behaved dogs welcome. Dogs must not be left alone in the property and are not allowed on the furniture.
  • Cot and high chair available if requested in advance. Please bring your own bed linen for the cot.
  • No smoking.
  • This property has a £150 good housekeeping refundable bond, which is payable to Best of Wales along with the balance of your holiday. Alternatively, you can waiver this bond by paying a non-refundable fee of £5 per person instead

Local Area

This top floor apartment is located within the Old Parish Offices dating back to 1873 in the Old Town of Llantrisant. The town has a rich history and is the home of the Royal Mint. The Royal Mint Experience is a great attraction and well worth a visit. There is also a shopping centre in Talbot Green less than 1/2 a mile away. Llantrisant has a great history including Roman and Norman invasions. The Longbowmen from the town were renowned for their battle skills and played key roles in many conflicts including the Battle of Crecy in 1346. Dr William Price is also from the town and was a cult figure in Welsh History. An archdruid, surgeon and a revolutionary figure, he was the founder of cremation in modern day Britain.

Cardiff is just 20 minutes away by car making the apartment an ideal location for events at the Principality Stadium, such as Six Nations Rugby or the European Champions league final in June 2017. There are events all throughout the year in Cardiff including international cricket, Cardiff half and full marathon, Cardiff Triathlon, Speedway, international football and many more.

In the borough, the restored Victorian 'Lido' at Pontypridd, Rhondda Heritage Park and Bike Park Wales are among other popular attractions. The Brecon Beacons National Park is only 25 minutes drive away.

Along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast there are numerous beaches including Barry Island, Ogmore and a stunning beach at Southerndown. 17 miles.

Golf
