Cardiff’s city centre including the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle and the many shopping Centres are also a short taxi, bus or water taxi away making it the perfect location for a romantic break, a city break with friends or a family trip.

Open plan lounge/dining room, opening out onto a large balcony. (The apartment is not suitable for small children due to the high balcony)

Modern designer kitchen with electric cooker and hob, full sized fridge freezer, washer dryer and dishwasher.

Bedroom 1 – Master bedroom with King sized bed and fitted wardrobes. En-suite with larger shower. Excellent Bay views from window.

Bedroom 2 - King sized bed and wardrobe, and again excellent bay views from the window.

Master bathroom is marble styled and includes bath and shower over bath.

Outside

Large balcony with stunning panoramic views all across Cardiff, the bay and out to sea.

West facing balcony ensures you can enjoy the evening sunset.

Fabulous apartment, everything you could want, ideal location for the bay.

Most enjoyable. Excellent transport facilities. Facilities at Vega Calestia very good. Good local eateries. Also good selection of eateries in the city centre - please try Walleys for lunch. A visit to the museum is also a must. We are always pleased and happy with our stay A knowledge of the area is essential. Local Area

Located on one of the top floors of the building, this apartment is the ideal base for self catering in Cardiff, with Mermaid Quay, The Millennium Centre and numerous restaurants and bars only a short walk away. It is in the heart of the Cardiff Bay development that was recently named as Europe’s most exciting waterfront. Cardiff Bay has a wide range of free and paid attractions to keep you entertained all year round. The Dr Who Museum, an Olympic sized swimming pool with leisure facility, a cinema complex and a casino and an International White Water centre can all be found nearby.

The Bay also has excellent public transport links to the city centre, including attractions such as the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle, St. David’s 2 shopping arcade (a 5 minute drive). Cardiff is a city of attractions, sport, culture and entertainment. Cardiff Castle and its beautiful grounds can be found in the city centre. With world-class stadiums for rugby, football, cricket, athletics and an International Sports Village, it is easy to see why Cardiff has gained its reputation as a sporting city.

Beaches

With the Glamorgan Heritage Coast just around the corner there are numerous beaches, ranging from the bustling resort of Barry Island (9 miles) to the more peaceful and stunning beach at Southerndown (25 miles).

Water Sports

The Cardiff International White Water Centre (CIWW) offers canoeing, white water rafting, kayaking, hydro speed and hot-dogging. (All equipment can be provided). 0.3 miles

Walking

There are many walks around the Bay including a circular walk over the barrage and the southern tip of the Taff Trail. 0.1 miles.

Fishing

The Bristol Channel boats excellent sea fishing. There are also charter boats to hire form the marina 0.3 miles

Golf

There are many courses in the area including the prestigious Celtic Manor, host to the 2010 Ryder Cup. 18 miles. The nearest course is Cottrell Park set within the rolling hills of the Vale of Glamorgan 8 miles.
