Located on the edge of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park, Bwthyn y Gors is a modern holiday cottage. It is stylish and fully equipped, with excellent outdoor activities such as walking and cycling all on you doorstep. The house is only 13 miles from the centre of Swansea and the magical Gower Peninsular is also only a short drive away.

Ground Floor

Stylsh lounge and dining room with feature wall, comfy sofa, TV, DVD and dining table with seating for 6.

Fully equipped kitchen with fridge and small freezer compartment, toaster, gas hob, electric oven, music docking station.

Utility room with dishwasher, washing machine, dog toys, microwave and slow cooker.

Side porch is fully enclosed and is ideal for bike storage or walking boots and equipment. Includes hose to wash down.

Ground floor bathroom with WC and basin.

Upstairs

Bedroom 1 - Master bedroom is a double with walk in wardrobe, walll mounted TV.

Bedroom 2 - Twin bedroom.

Bedroom 3 - Single bedroom.

Master Bathroom - Bath, shower over bath, wc and basin.

Garden

Rear patio area, with Italian fixed BBQ, table and chairs and enjoys the sun for most of the day.

  • This property has a £150 good housekeeping refundable bond, which is payable to Best of Wales along with the balance of your holiday. Alternatively, you can waiver this bond by paying a non-refundable fee of £5 per person instead. .

Llandeilo

There can be fewer towns in Wales more attractive than Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire, sitting proudly on a hill above the river Tywi. And there are fewer valleys lovelier than the Tywi. Llandeilo is a traditional town with a great mix of independant shops and local friendly places to eat and drink.

Local Area

Bwthyn y Gors is an end link house in the village of Cwmgors in the Swansea Valley, just on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, with excellent walking, cycling, mountain biking and fishing nearby. In the village you will find some local pubs and shops, inlcuding the Mount pub that offers a 10% discount to all guests. The Scotch Pine Inn on nearby Betws mountain is also worth a visit for the views alone. World rugby legend Gareth Edwards was born just up the road in Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen. Carreg Cennen Castle is only 8 miles away and is spectacular hill top castle and well worth a visit.

The Brecon Beacons is one of three National Parks in Wales. It is great for walking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing and many more activities. It is also and offical Dark-Sky reserve which means that you can enjoy the minimal light pollution to stargaze.

The city of Swansea is 13 miles away with plenty of shops and attractions including the Marina, LC2 Leisure Centre, The Liberty Stadium home of Premier League football team Swansea City and much more. Gower Penninsula was designated as the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty back in 1956 and it has some fantastic beaches including Llangenith, Rhosilli and Three Cliffs. The area is a mecca for watersports including surfing, windurfing, kite surfing.

Swansea and Mumbles are only a short drive away or Langland on the Gower is a popular choice. 19 miles
