This stylish Cottage with a hot tub is on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park with fantastic walking, cycling and mountain biking all on the doorstep. With excellent road access to Swansea and the Gower there are many superb beaches within a car ride away. Perfect for a family get-together, special occasion celebration or a gathering of friends.

Strictly no single sex groups, no stag or hens. Families and groups of couples only.


Ground floor

Lounge with feature effect fireplace, comfy sofas and patio doors opening out to hot tub and rear patio area.

Dining room with table and chairs that can sit up to 8.

Large fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, range cooker, fridge and freezer, breakfast bar with stools. Through the kitchen is a second lounge / reading room opening out on to rear patio area.

Utility room with basin, washer-drier.

Downstairs wetroom wc with shower, wc and basin.

Upstairs

Bedroom 1 – Large master bedroom with a Superking, TV and great views. En suite shower room with shower unit, wc and basin.

Bedroom 2 – Superking bed, wardrobe, TV.

This property has a £200 good housekeeping refundable bond, which is payable to Best of Wales along with the balance of your holiday. Alternatively, you can waiver this bond by paying a non-refundable fee of £5 per person instead.

Local Area

Detached house located in the small village of Cwmtwrch with several local pubs within walking distance and a local shop. The village is nestled in a Valley with great scenery all around you and superb walks from the doorstep. This is a great base for a holiday as you have the Brecon Beacons National Park in one direction and Swansea and Gower with all its great beaches in the other including the award winning Rhossili, Llangenith and many more.

Craig-Y-Nos Country Park and Dan yr Ogof showcaves and both just a short drive away (6 miles) and both are great family days out. The area also has numerous waterfalls which are a great attraction. Cycle path NCR43 runs nearby and there are many mountain trails and tracks to be enjoyed. For road biking there are some great country roads and some challenging climbs to be enjoyed. All weather attractions include local swimming pools at Ystradgynlais and Pontardawe and the LC2 in Swanesea with its splash park and water slides.


The Brecon Breacons Narional Park is just 2 miles away and covers 520 square miles of natural beauty with Mountains, lakes, rivers and plenty of activities such as kayaking, fishing , walking and more. A walk-up Pen-y-fan (South Wales’ highest peak) is popular, with breathtaking views from the summit on a clear day.

Swansea and the coast is only 14 miles away. The city itself has great shopping but it also home to a Premier league football team, a marina and a long sandy beach. The mumbles and Gower are great seaside areas to explore. Cardiff is about a 45min drive away, so the cottage is also ideal for events at the Principaltiy Stadium and visiting St Fagans, Cardiff Castle or Cardiff Bay.

The glorious Gower coastline is also only a short drive away, with its sandy beaches, wonderful wildlife and surfing. 14 miles

Swansea Watersports provide a full range of water sports activities and training for all ages and all levels of experience. 11 miles
