This gorgeous apartment is located within a Grade 2 listed country estate in Monmouthshire.  Originally part of the outbuildings of this grand country house it has been restored and is now an ideal romantic retreat for 2 where you can cosy up in front of the the fireplace or relax in the stylish roll top bath. There is 128 acres of woodland, parkland, gardens and countryside to be enjoyed. Outside of the estate there are some great local pubs and several Michelin star restaurants as well as plenty of walks and cycle routes to be enjoyed. Other popular local activities are salmon fishing and clay pigeon shooting.

Local Area

This apartment is part of a magnificent Grade 2 listed country estate just 4 miles from the town of Usk in Monmouthshire. The estate covers 128 acres of gardens, woodland and open countryside. 

Usk includes a castle and several local pubs. The river Usk is well known as a salmon river. The estate includes several other holiday accommodation units and the owner resides in the main house.  

Monmouthshire includes many great places to visit - Raglan Castle, Tintern Abbey and Chepstow Castle. The Usk and Wye contains around 1,500 miles of public rights of way so there are many walks to choose from including walks around the estate itself.  

For retail therapy, Cardiff is 27 miles away and Bristol is 36 miles way. Cardiff is a very popular city destination especially for the sporting and music concerts that takes place at the Principality Stadium.

Plenty of trails and paths nearby and around Monmouthshire, including walks around the grounds of the Estate. 0.1 miles. 

Fishing

The Usk has some excellent salmon beats. 4 miles.

Golf
