We had a lovely relaxing stay in The Apartment, Aberaeron, which was very clean and comfortable with lots of nice touches. It is centrally situated with views over the harbour to the front and sea views to the rear, close to all shops, restaurant and buses. You can stay here without a car as buses go to Lampeter, Carmarthen, Cardigan, Aberystwyth and New Quay, with regular services. The dolphin watch boat trip was enjoyable and the cliff rail trip up constitution hill was lovely with a really nice restaurant at the top with outdoor seating for sunny days and wonderful views. Dealing with Wales Cottage holidays was really easy. Mrs Valerie Jones - 10th September 2018
It was very comfortable with lovely views front and back and very well equipped. It was generally peaceful, we had an extremely good holiday and was sorry to leave! It's a lovely accommodation, well-equipped, great location and good value!Caroline from Kent - 24th July 2018
Loved the apartment and its central location
The Cellar restaurant is excellent, and McCowans little tea shop for brilliant cakes!Couple from Ireland - 8th August 2017
Beautiful place, kind people.
Recommendations: Ceredigion and the bay. The dolphins in New Quay.Donnat from France - 11th June 2017
Very pleasant stay. Excellent apartment in a great location.
Recommends: There is a great walk to Llanerchaeron (National Trust) that starts close to the Aberaeron memorial hall.David from Chester - 4th June 2017
Late booking. Booked Wednesday arrived Saturday found accommodation was super. Views lovely. Shops, restaurants all close by. Harbour, sea front, riverside walk all easy walking.
Recommendations: Riverside walk. New Celtic fish and chips good, breakfast average and expensive for what it was. At the Cellar we had a fantastic meal, well worth the price. Prosecco pricey settled for bottle of house wine. Staff excellent.Couple from Lincolnshire - 18th September 2016
Very comfortable stay at an excellent location. Top floor flat has great views across both harbour and Cardigan Bay. The pub is very near and also very quiet - a great relief!
Tips: Be prepared to hunt for parking spaces!Couple from Kent - 6th August 2016

This apartment is the 2nd and 3rd floors of a house opposite the quay. Within 100 yards of the shops and facilities that Aberaeron has to offer. Aberaeon with its Georgian style houses was once a busy fishing port but is now a quaint town famed for its couloured houses and gorgeous harbour. There are many great places to eat and drink including the well known Harbourmaster, the Arosfa (summer grill) and Celtic Fish and Chip shop. An Ice cream from The Hive is also a must on any visit to Aberaeron.
The town of Aberystwyth lies only 15 miles to the North and includes the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth University, Aberystwyth cliff railway, harbour, beaches and of course its pier and seafront. The Ynys Las sand dunes are part of the Dyfi national nature reserve and are well worth a visit.
New Quay lies to the south and is another popular seaside town. Famous for its Dolphins you can book boat trips to see them from the quayside. Often you are able to watch the dolphins from the harbour wall or surrounding headland.
