Y Llofft Gwair is a split level Aberystwyth holiday cottage with the views from the bedroom stretching across the Cambrian Range. Located on a quiet private complex and playground in a rural location yet only just outside the desirable Victorian seaside town of Aberystwyth with its beaches, promenade and marina.

Ground Floor

This Aberystwyth holiday cottage has an open plan lounge kitchen and dining area with a comfy sofa and armchair and plenty of room to relax. Freeview TV, DVD, CD Radio and Mp3 dock.
The fully equipped kitchen includes full sized freezer, fridge and a dishwasher

Upstairs

The large double bedroom in this Aberystwyth holiday cottage enjoys great views across the Cambrian mountain range. One double bed and a pull out bed to sleep an additional guest.
The bathroom includes a large jet bath with shower over bath and WC.

Garden

Good sized private garden area that is fenced off and includes a garden table and chairs.
There are large shared grounds on the complex, playground, and plenty of open spaces. There is also a shared BBQ.

The following items are also provided at the cottage for your stay. Kitchen: salt and pepper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid/dishwasher tabs, new dishcloths and scourers, tin foil and cling film. Bathroom: liquid hand soap and 2 toilet rolls per toilet. General cleaning products: bleach, shower cleaner, anti bacterial spray etc.

Local Area

This Aberystwyth holiday cottage is located on an old dairy farm and amongst a small collection of holiday properties on a complex that includes a hot tub. It is only a 10 minute walk to a supermarket, fish and chip shop, bar and Aberystwyth University. The town itself with seafront, shops, restaurants and bars is 1.5 miles away.


Aberystwyth is a great Victorian seaside town with its pier and promenade. Constitution Hill is at one end of the beach and the view across Aberystwyth is well worth the walk to the top. The town itself has a wide range of shops, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and other amenities including indoor leisure facilities. Other towns nearby this Aberystwyth holiday cottage include Aberaeron, 17 miles to the south and Aberdovey, 29 miles to the north. The local coastline is famous for its marine wildlife and a dolphin watching trip from New Quay is a great day out.


The area has one of the premier Mounting Bike centres in the UK at Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre and there are plenty of beaches and other famous attractions and landmarks in every direction. Ynyslas R.S.P.B Nature reserve and dunes are a huge expanse and definitely worth a visit.


Walking

The All Wales Coastal path can be joined nearby and there are also many mountain trails to be explored in the Cambrian Mountains. 0.4 Miles


Cycling

Nant yr Arian Mountain Biking Centre - one of the premier Mountain Biking centres in Wales. Featuring the Continental Tyres Syfydrin Trail, one of the most scenic wilderness trails in the UK 12 miles.


Fishing

There is excellent sea fishing all along the coast with a mixture of beach and rocky fishing marks. Charter boats can also be booked from Aberystwyth Marina. 1.5 miles
