Reviews

What a wonderful place to stay. We had a really warm welcome and the cottage is so warm and cosy. We couldn't have hoped for anywhere nicer for New Year. We spent three days walking around the coast from Kidwelly to Laugharne. Magnificent views and wonderful castles at Kidwelly, Llansteffan and Laugharne, and lunch sitting outside Dylan Thomas's boathouse was the perfect start to the year.Deborah from London - 12th January 2018

We have had a relaxing few day's away in your beautiful cottage, the perfect
location for us.
We will be returning in the summer to enjoy the patio and the beautiful
countryside.
Many thanks.

I had almost given up trying to find a suitable cottage for just two of us over
Christmas when I stumbled across this amazing cottage. My husband and I have
had a glorious week of solitude, long wind swept walks and cosy fires with
Christmas telly. It was a much needed escape and the Welsh weather this
December only consolidated the feeling of warmth the cottage brings. The
Rayburn is good for cooking Christmas dinner, the living room cosy and the
bathroom perfect for 2 hour baths.
We'll be back for all of this again. Thank you Paula, you were perfect.
PS. Please can I adopt your dogs ?

We were looking for a relaxing short break away and we certainly found it at
the Old House.
Looking at the building record folder you can see how much work has gone into
the renovation to bring it to such a high standard.
Paula (Owner) very helpful and informative.
